I just watched a couple vids of you riding to see if you have any cred at all and you clearly su**)k a bag of d1(ks. Go play tag football with your football bat you handbasket full of rainbows. I suppose you found out that I’ve been riding since the 92/93 season and that growing through Jr. High, High School, and onto College I was a Regional and National USASA competitor, did the AST (American Snowboard Tour), Van Triple Crowns, Burton Global Open Series (NZ & US), New Zealand South Island Championships, USSA Grand Prix’s, and a countless number of unsanctioned contest…let me know if I forgot any.
I bet you even dug deep enough to find that I stepped out of competing a decade ago and have been coaching the National Sports Centers C.O.D.P (Community Olympic Development Program), Windells, Windells Academy, USASA All American Team, USSA Project Gold Team & Jr. Worlds Team, and the US Deaf Olympic Snowboard Team…yeah it’s been great traveling to every continent beside Africa and Antarctica to snowboard. Again, let me know if I forgot any.
Captain, you’re right; I screw up product video reviews all the time, but do my best to correct the mistakes. Some vids are good some vids are bad.
Football was never my thing, I never tried out. Maybe that’s why I don’t know what a football bat is. Smoking bowls is overrated.
I know a little bit about snowboarding – of course not every bit of history, board specs, scenes, or crews, but what I do know, is that I do it because it’s fun. I like riding anything from corduroys to park laps. I snowboard because it’s all I’ve let into my life for the last 20 years, can’t stop. Of course I still have much to experience and much to learn about snowboarding too.
If you’re ever in Minnesota stop by some time – seriously. I’ll by you a ticket and we’ll make some laps at Hyland. I travel a lot too, so I’ll probably be close to where ever you are. Let me know and I’ll pack my gear up.

yo I hope you still check this, I need help. When i ride it feels like the arch of my foot is being ripped in half. I stopped riding because of the pain. I started back up last year but only went twice because of how bad it hurts. Help me please!!!
I’ve been doing some reading and I’m going to order new boots and binding. I was thinking of getting a pair of Nike zoom force 1, and Rome 390 bindings. what do you think?
Do you think I should go for a stiffed boot over a softer boot? I read somewhere that a stiffer boot will cut down on foot pain specifically Arch pain because it takes less effort to carve with a stiffer boot..
Also I’ve tried arch supports and tape and it did not help. I was thinking of getting Birkenstock insoles because two years ago I had plantar fasciitis and switching from my crock work shoes to Birkenstocks saved my life. Do you know anyone who wares them boarding and do think a hard cork sole would do more harm than good?

You’re right, the Burton Landlord is one of my most favorite decks of all time. I like the board because it has properties of a powder/freeride board and properties of a freestyle deck. A
lthough the stance has been set back, the sidecut radius has also been set back to be in the center of the stance. In between the contact points the Landlord is basically a twin, well, besides the S-Rocker bend profile shape and the tapered tail. Past the contact points the nose is longer than the tail. All in all I feel like it rides more like a twin board than a directional deck. The Triax Fiberglass gives the board quick edge to edge transitions and the Carbon I-Beam gives the board great pop while allowing the board to be torsionally manipulated with easy.

hey, i’m a beginner to intermediate rider and love park and cursing down all mountains looking for features. Im thinking about buying a board and was wondering if you could recommend one? Last winter i tried a K2 Raygun 2014 but wasn’t really feeling it and I would sometimes get stuck going from heel to toe edge on the K2. I like the sound of the TWC standard 2013 but have no clue if this is the board for me, I have also looked at the Arbor Formula Blem Snowboard 2014 and like the specs of that but again don’t know if its my style. I liked these boards because there soft and playful but Im still looking for a board that can be good EVERYWHERE not just the park. These are only 2 boards of many and i was wondering if you could recommend a board for me?

The Formula is a pretty great all mountain board and would do the trick. Now when you say Stuck going for heal to toe what is going on? is it just real slow? are you getting any heal or toe drag? What size feet do you have?

That is an extremely difficult question. My top three daily drivers would be:
1. Hot Knife
2. Attack Banana
3. TRS
The Hot Knife is a real stand out because of the C3 BTX profile shape.

Quick question ,
I am 6’2″ 170lb. 34in inseam.Generaly wear size M in pants.
32″ waist. I have pretty long arms (dress shirt sleeve of 36″)
I have a hard time finding a Gore-Tex gear the would fit me right.
I know you are pretty tall too, not sure about your sleeve lenght though
Can you please recommend Gore-Tex brand names and models of Jackets (typ I wear size L) that have long cut and long sleaves and Pants(M with 34in inseam) ?

That’s a tough one. The Burton AK line runs a little longer than more. Make sure to check out the size guides when looking at the pieces.
