Beyond the scope of large contests like the Olympics, Dew Tour, USSA Grand Prix, and the X Games halfpipe riding has pretty much been on the back burner as far as video edits go. The accessibility and cost to film Street is far easier and cheaper than riding a resort pipe – let alone ride it enough to get really good.
It took 7 shapers over 1,500 hours to construct the DC Area 43 Pipe at the French resort Meribel and it looks like Thomas Krief enjoyed every second of it.
