What are volume shift snowboards and why do you need one in your quiver?
Take everything you know about sizing a snowboard and throw it out the window! Volume Shift snowboards are a great way to make boards a little more versatile in multiple conditions. By shortening the board but making it wider and a little stiffer you can make your board easy to throw around but still give you ultimate float in the deep stuff. At the opposite side of the spectrum you can take add a bit of length to you board just in the tips. This allows a longer board to feel smaller under your feet on the groomers and flat snow in general.
