Skunk Ape all the way for all mountain freestyle, but that thing is not down with park laps…

Skunk Ape absolutely shreds. You cannot catch an edge accidently but you can grab edge anytime you need it. I will never give this board up. I only wish I could set back another inch or two on the tail during the super deep days. However I have ridden it in 3 feet of Montana powder and can totally ride powder and steer with my rear foot. It is a lot of board to get in the air, but give me trees, chutes and powder any day. I also will say if you get onto deep moguls the tail can catch on the mogul behind you occasionally. However you effortlessly can abort your turn and regroup. It is tough to go down on this board also. Countless times I have been able to pull my big 6’2″ 220 lbs body up from a near bail. The big deck is great for us old shredders as you almost never bail. Just spent 2 days on expert only powder runs and went down one time, and that was the end of day two and was more fatigue caused. I cannot overstate how awesome this board is for big dudes! If you are big dude and don’t have this board you’re missing out!!
