A little while ago Paul demoed next years Lucas Magoon Pro model and wrote up a post about it (Which you should check out). There has been a lot of interest in this board and a few of you have had questions about it. So instead of fielding them one at a time I figured it would be easier to just give you the the description and specs straight from Technine.

There is also going to be a Lucas Magoon L.M. Pro Rocker. So no matter what side of the camber fence you’re on Technine has you covered.

First of all go with the Magoon cause it’s a sick board. But you my friend have just asked the question of this snowboard generation. Rocker or Camber? And yeah you got yourself a tough situation there. If you want to ride your board shorter you need to go rocker, and for riding rails a rocker board will benefit you more plus Technine made the Magoon rocker softer which is also better for presses and what not. But if you want more pop, more stability and more articulate carving you need to get the camber. A lot of companies are making mixed camber boards now that are outstanding like the Lib C2, Rossignol Amptek or the Burton Flying V. I would actually suggest something like that for your riding style. But if your heart is set on the Magoon just ask yourself what you really ride more, rails or kickers? In my own biased opinion I would tell you to get the camber, and it’s still plenty soft for riding street. Good Luck!

I currently have an lm pro rocker, I’m having problems hitting the rails right, I switched from the enforcer. Both boards were 155, I’m 5’7″ and 180 pounds. Do you think I should get a smaller board or stay with the 155? I just ride park.
