Heavenly's Signature Feature
Heavenly is a radical mountain, because you can snowboard across state lines. Back and forth all day if you were so inclined, with plenty of terrain on either side for border boardin’! If that’s not enough for you, the parks at Heavenly are solid. There’s something for everyone, the Groove and Comet parks is for the fresh freestylers, with small ride-on boxes and mini jumps.Graduates head to Powderbowl Park, where the jibs get more creative and the jumps get a little more sack to ’em. This park is likely to be crowded on weekends though, so either get good enough for the next park, or look at some midweek tickets.
The big dogs lap the Jackpot Park, which has some jumps in the 40-50 foot range most of the time, and an array of unique bonks and rails, along with plenty of standard down bars. Park crew dudes are often seen touching things up and keeping a thumb on the maintenance pulse.

Save some of that energy for later though, when you download the gondola right into the heart of South Lake Tahoe. The bright lights waste no time enticing you out of those boots and into a bar stool at one of the big casinos that are all within stumbling distance of each other.
Heavenly is still packing a base of 90-110 inches and spring conditions. Who doesn’t love slushy landings? They’re open for a few more weeks too, so grab your gear for one last hurrah before you choose between Mt. Hood and your skateboard.
