When you’ve been around as long as the gang over at Standard Films, you don’t need to rely on fancy graphics, or apparently even come up with a catchy name for your flicks because their new teaser implies that they have neither. The graphics look like they were made on a VCR and the name is lamer than a tribal tattoo.
But I digress about the old fashioned ways they have of doing things over there! The movies are always good, really good. This season is no exception, thanks in large part to a lineup that looks like the New York Yankees on snow. We can’t even begin to guess who’s going to have the opener and who will take home the finale. Big timers like Lonnie Kauk, Torstein Horgmo, Eiki Helgason will be throwing corks around like they’re wine tasting in Napa while Kazuhiro Kokubo hits the pipe and Sammy Luebke gets down on everything in between. Oh, and rumor has it Mr. Kevin Jones has got a part in there! Let’s put our glasses up in hopes that this comeback goes a little better than Tiger’s did.
And for the ladies…there’s a solid lineup of labias in in the list, too. Hana Beaman, Leanne Pelosi, Erin Comstock are putting down parts, as well as Raewyn Reid, but you’ll skip that part since she’s got the talent of Michael Jordan on a baseball field. One more thing we’re looking forward too…Kimmy Fasani. This girl has been on the come up for a while now and The Storming could be her coming out party.
