Denver once again hosted the ultimate snow industry trade show, SnowSports Industries of America, this past January. In 2014, SIA celebrated 60 years of bringing snow junkies of all kinds together to premiere the latest and greatest in innovations and updates on equipment. The new gear for the 2015 Ski Season was exceptional. Ski companies have refined rocker profiles and smoothed out lines to create the most versatile planks the mountain has ever seen. Boots have increased comfort while focusing on power transfer and performance. Bindings are sleek, burly, and featherlight. Apparel is on the high end of tech yet has a street savvy look. The Show was incredible and turned my stoke meter to 11. I ran around for four days talking shop and learning about next years gear. Luckily, the camera was rolling for all of it and caught some of the weirdness that occurs at event like SIA: a star struck interview with Glen Plake, internal mustache dialogue, rants on skinny jeans, and, of course, girls in bikinis.
