Ride DH2.4 Snowboard Review

Matt Guff here, for The House Snowboard Shop. This is the super sick Dh2.4 Snowboard By Ride. It’s a lovely snowboard, has the new Hybrid Prorise, camber, and rocker technology. I say that because it has a little bit of camber in between the feet for additional pop, and it has some rocker- just north and south of the tip and tail for a little bit of jib action.

It has the 85A Slimewall sidewall, which is a great thing for all you jibbers out there. It has a 4000 sintered base, so this is a high-performance base right here. Pretty much every major pro in the Ride Line helped design this board. It has the 2.0 poprod. So you have poprods that go from the tip to the tail of the board. Great for all you need super super high, staying super super fast. What I like about most about this board is it’s stable. You can hold on this board and not get the chatters that you would have if you were on a softer board. Absolutely amazing. Another one of my favorite things is the cleaved edge. I know a lot of jibbers out there like to grind on their edges. This edge has 50% more steel in it than all other edges. They do that so that they are a little bit more stable. If you dink a rail or hit a rail, they’re not going to crack as much. You can ground off those babies a little bit more than you would with traditional edges. That’s pretty much it. Top sheet has the membrane, and it’s a little bit lighter. So here you have the Ride DH2.4.
