Park City Goes Green

You know, there are a lot of places in the industry that will blow smoke up your scarf and tell you how good something is just because they’re getting some sort of hook up on the back end. We don’t buy into that nonsense here at The House though, we like to give it to you straighter than a fresh down rail on opening day.

Park City used to be one of those resorts that pumped coverage of their pro park all over the airwaves but then when you showed up, the public park was pretty lame. Note the past tense. These days, they have a new feller in charge of the park and he’s no rookie. Jeremy Cooper, learned to handle the sticks at Mammoth Mountain and was then sent to fill the void left by Joe Genovese at June Mountain a few years back. Coop is the one responsible for all those crazy satellites, propane tanks, and other orange legoland-like jibs that June has had over the last couple seasons, and now he’s running the show at Park City.

His first order of business this summer was a few fresh paint jobs, so check out the video for a sneak peak of some of the new goodies they got up there, and be sure to make a trip up to Utah this season to enjoy his bounty.
