Our Favorite Florida Skateparks: Miami, Orlando, and More

By Published On: January 31st, 20220 Comments

Florida was one of the first states to embrace skateboarding, with skateparks showing up as early as the mid-70s. The sunshine state responded to the wave of skateboarders on its beach walkways, city streets, and urban plazas by creating safe and legal space for skaters to do their thing. The result is a beautiful state full of skateparks on the beachside, underneath highways, and along rivers.

Whether you’re in Orlando, Tampa, Miami, or Jacksonville, there are plenty of options available. From the highway underpass of Lot 11 to the South Beach walkway of Jacksonville Beach, there is a wide variety of skateparks to choose from! Here are some of our favorite Florida skateparks.

But first…skate gear!

Regardless of your style or skill level, make sure you have your skate helmet. Having the right helmet and following skatepark etiquette can keep you and others safe and riding longer. Check out our recommendations of the best skateboarding wheels, as this can change your whole riding experience and give you the boost you need!
