Greatest Freestyle Course Sees Insane Action
Mottolino Fun Mountain in Livigno, Italy was the sight for Friday April 4th’s insane competition on the gargantuan Nine Knights Course. This is some of the biggest, most technical, scariest, and jaw dropping competition skiing to be caught on film. The entire field of skiers went higher, harder, bigger, and faster than most dare to event think about. The massive Nine Knights castle was under siege from twenty invited freeskiers. The group was whittled down to an eight man final, which became one of the most creative and innovative sessions all season. Sweden’s Oscar Wester took first place with a triple cork 1620 and switch 1440, leaving 17 year-old Swiss skier Luca Schuler in second place and fellow countryman Jesper Tjäder in third. Watch the competition shredit and see what it takes to boost 100ft features with style and ease.
