Tiny board? Why not! They’re an absolute blast to ride on groomers or in the terrain park. Mini snowboards are more of a second or third board to add to your quiver, so don’t go cracking your piggy bank if you only have enough coin for one board. Mini snowboards make surprisingly nice, clean turns. They’re born for little surf slashes and cutbacks. Bomb the hill? Sure! They’re stable enough for high speeds with high end construction just like their regular sized counterparts.

What is a Mini Snowboard?

Simply put, a mini snowboard is a shrunken down version of a regular sized snowboard – designed for adults, not kids! The wide version comes in at 123 centimeters, regular stands at 120 centimeters and the women’s version is 119 centimeters. A full twin, mini snowboards are identical in construction from tip to tail making switch riding, landings and take offs much smoother. They’re a fun alternative to a regular size board – think sevens instead of threes. With less board, it’s way easier to control these micro version snowboards, while holding like a real sized board.

  • Spins Made Easy – With less board weight, it’s easier to spin the board in the air.
  • Novelty of Something Different – That’s right. Go out on a limb and try something else…just for fun. Heck, get one to share for your crew. At any rate, it’ll make for some fun filming.
  • Super Light – You won’t waste an ounce of energy carrying this pint sized snowboard up to the lift.

Who Should Ride Mini Snowboards?

Riders looking for something a little different will dig mini snowboards. Novice riders should definitely learn on a traditional board. Minis are designed for the pure fun aspect for intermediated to advanced riders. These insanely fun tiny shred sticks will certainly be a fun new challenge that might even give you the confidence to try try that Hardway 270 On. They’re not meant to replace you’re regular board, but rather serve as an extra to throw in the car. Bust it out after a spicy Bloody Mary that slipped it’s way into your lunch.
