Chuckbuddies
With a huge grasp on the European Action Sports Toy Market, Chuckbuddies recently decided to launch their flingable snowboarding toy in the US. In December of 2011 Flow Snowboards began US distribution for Chuckbuddies; with over 100 shops selling Chuckbuddies it looks like they’ll bypass the once famous Huck Doll.
The dream of Rasmus Ostergaard, Method Magazines’ former CEO, was to design a fun toy that encouraged engagment in snowboarding. After the US release at the 2011 SIA show everyone in the snowsports industry caught on. There is only one direction for Chuckbuddies to go from here. Up.
In the Fall of 2012 they’re releasing a ski and skateboard Chuck and pro models for Terje Haakonsen, Jamie Lynn, Scotty Lago, Eero Ettala, Chas Guldemond, and Torstein Horgmo. The base model Chuck has 9 color options and is fairly priced at $29.99.
