Kirby Kelly might be one of my favorite people on the planet.  Kirby’s Mom and Dad are old punk rockers and her brother CJ is an unreal skater; she grew up with a rad family in the Northwest Chicago suburb of Algonquin, IL.

Shredding Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park on a consistent basis Kirby’s skills grew to unbelieveable heights, but after moving to Colorado to train with the Steamboat Spring Winter Sports Club did she really start to excel.  “Kirby is an amazingly talented determined young snowboarder, I’m excited to see how far she goes with her riding.” says SSWSC Freestyle Head Coach Ashley Berger.

Here’s the jump.  Elena Hight did the 1st women’s double in the pipe, but Kirby Kelly is right behind her.  Here is a short clip of Kirby working on her Backside Double Mc into an airbag during the USSA Project Gold Camp at Mammoth.
