Burton Deuce Snowboard

Burton Snowboards, Snowboard Bindings, Boots, Jackets, Pants, Hoodies, Fleece, Mitts, Gloves, Shirts, Polos, BackpacksYou can double the destruction with this entry-level board. It’s part of the Double Chair tier in the Burton line. Burton has five different tiers, this is called the Double Chair tier. These boards are Burton’s baseline price point boards, with a lot of great features that equal some of the greatest boards that other companies manufacturers.

This Burton Deuce has a feel good rating of a 3; it’s going to be a little bit softer. It is a camber-shaped board. There is of course a lot of pop and precision in these decks that are cambered. It is a twin-shaped board with 3-D inserts, and it does have a directional flex. The flex is going to be a little bit stiffer on the tail and the nose is going to be a little bit more softer.

The core of the Burton Deuce is pretty unique. It has Burton‘s Super Fly core, which is a combination of laminate woods, both tip to tail, that are both hard and soft and it does have the Dualzone EDG, which means that on the rails or the edges, they change the direction of the wood to go perpendicular from the nose and the tail.

It does also have a negative profile core. The negative profile core raises, not raises the core, but eliminates some of the waste in between the bindings, and the nose and the tail. So the shape of the core is a little bit thinner on the nose and tail; a little bit thinner in the middle, in between the bindings. A little bit thicker underneath the feet. That causes and helps you to flex your board in a little bit more fun pattern.

It does have Biax fiberglass, the fiberglass runs in two different directions. And it has a very durable and porous Sintered base. The edges are the classic grip-and-rip tuned edges, and it does have a 28-degree slant wall sidewall.

The Burton Deuce does come in wide options; as wide as 26.7 cm in the middle. I have a size 11 boot, and generally I ride, you know, I like to ride normal size boards. If I have to I’ll ride like a mid-wide board, but I’ll never really have to go into the 26.7 width. So if you have like size 18 feet, if you’re an NBA player or just a really tall guy, or maybe a short guy with gigantic feet, the Deuce wide option is going to be a great idea for you.

The graphics are pretty amazing. It was done by a guy named Todd White. You can check out his website at ToddRyanWhite.com.
