The Mind Expander is designed to be ridden by the all mountain rider who blends freestyle, freeriding, and surf style all into one. The Mind Expander features a directional shape that allows for a forward-thinking shape that is complemented by Jones Christenson Surf Rocker Profile that gives this deck a slight rocker profile under the feet with a more drastic positive bend in the nose and tail for a true surfboard like look and ride.
The Jones Mind Expander features a 3D Contour Base 3.0 base bevel. A freeride focused 3D-base contours featuring an even balance of 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point. The spoon like shape gives this deck unbelivable surf like feel in powder, a predictable turning ability and tons of playfulness on edge. The 3D Contour Base makes the Mind Expander a true surf inspired deck that cannot be matched by other surf inspired decks on the market.
