Exclusive spy photos of Copper Rev Tour build

While our own Kaitlyn Farrington is taking care of business at Copper’s Grand Prix, snow cats are pushing together some booters for this week’s stop of the Rev Tour as well. A lot of snow has fallen overnight and its only going to make for a better course at this point. The Rev Tour begins on December 13th and wraps up on the 17th, but we’ve already got some classified photos from the course build.

The Rev Tour has been around since 2003, and if offers young shredders a stepping-stone event series between amateur events and the elite ones that the tour qualifies its winning competitors for. In addition to the slopestyle event, there will also be halfpipe, boardercross, and new this year are skiing divisions. Anyone 13 or older can enter, for more details on registration mouse on over to the USSA site.

The Rev Tour, being right on the heels of the Grand Prix, makes now the time to get out to Copper. Since the Rev Tour is a three-star TTR event, they’ve called in the big guns and the pros at Snow Park Technologies have come in to “put Copper on the map in Summit county,” as SPT builder Peter Colombo says. The course is shaping up to do just that, because not only is there a week of contests featuring all sorts of pros and up-n-comers, but after it’s all said and done Copper is leaving the SPT course up and opening it to the public! Its your chance to ride a course built by the same guys who build the X Games course, so get out to Copper while the gettings good.
