2010 Liquid Force SST Wakeskate Review

What I have here is the Liquid Force 2010 obscure SST Pro Model Edition for Aaron Reed and Danny Hampson. Aaron Reed’s Pro Model Wakeskate comes in a 42 inch board. Danny Hampson’s comes in a 40.5 symmetric deck. What I have here is Danny Hampson’s model. It comes standard with the one inch skate fins. It has a composite bottom, so you don’t have to worry about it breaking. We actually developed this composite bottom to ride like a wood deck in the water. So it’s a little deeper. It’s got the squared off nose and tail. It features the radius to rail all the way to the crisp edge. So, the board tracks more true as you’re heading into the wake. What’s unique about this design is that it features the split nose and tail from the bottom of the board, so that it allows some flex to have a return on your Ollies and any other trick that you may have that requires a serious pop. The top of the board now, new for this year, is we’ve actually bolting the top decks to the bottom decks, to the top. And there’s inserts in the top of the deck, on the bottom, that actually lock the boards together. This is a new shape for 2010.
