April 4th marked the beginning of the 2010 Jon Olsson Super Session, or JOSS as it’s more commonly known, being held in Are, Sweden. JOSS is a two week venture battled out between seven teams that represent nations around the globe. This year teams Sweden, Canada, America, Norway, Europe, Down Under and Newschoolers duked it out to see who was the best. The teams are made up of five people that include one rookie, two pro skiers and two filmers. Their main goal over these two weeks is to put together the best five minute video they possibly can. This epic battle just recently wrapped up and the outcome was glorious.

All the fun over this two week period was documented both by Newschoolers TV (they have something like 9 episodes) and by josupersession.com (they kept a daily update and have a bunch of videos). It’s pretty entertaining, I would most definitely recommended checking all of it out. JOSS gives out awards for best trick, best crash and all that, but the coveted award at these games is who made the best video.

Canada

It had to be decided who took the cake from a three way tie, but in the end it was team Canada that came out on top with the best video. They are still releasing all team videos but so far the ones you can peep are team Europe, Sweden and Down Under. They are all really good so I’m curious to see how Canada topped them. Keep an eye out for updates cause this is something you probably don’t want to miss.
