Burton Star Wars Experience Snowboard Park
Burton Snowboards, Shannon Dunn (1998 Olympic Bronze Medalist & Dave Downing’s wife), Yoda, R2-D2, Chewbacca, and Yoda were all present at the grand opening of the Burton Snowboards Star Wars™ Experience Yoda’s Riglet Park at Sierra-at-Tahoe’s Wild Mountain Children’s Center on February 17th, 2012.
Burton Snowboards and Lucasfilm Ltd. partnered together to design the Star Wars Experience Yoda’s Riglet Park with the intention to introduce kids ages 3-6 years old to snowboarding. The combination of snow features at Yoda’s Riglet Park and Burton’s Riglet Reel technology on Burton Chopper Star Wars series snowboards make for a great introduction to the wonderful lifestyle of snowboarding. Yoda highly recommends “With the Force go, and Helmet on your head wear.”
