Well ladies and gentlemen I’m sure your nerves have been telling you for a while now that it’s getting close to being about that time of the year again. On a good day the air will be nice chilly and crisp where you can almost smell the snow. You know, when you start to get the itch to strap a board to your feet and hit the hills.
Oh yeah, but wait we’re still kickin it in our buddies back yard in a t-shirt rockin the Slip ‘n Slide. No the snow isn’t here yet, but it’ close my friends. It’s very close. Those hankerings to be slipping down a nice white run rather than a yellow piece of plastic can get worse by the day. So what do we do instead to calm our shred attacks? Probably about the worst thing we could do, start watching all the trailers for the new videos coming out this year.
I just got done watching the trailer for Shine On, Sandbox’s vid for 2010, and let me tell you my gnar brothers and sisters we are in store for a treat. There are a ton of videos coming out for this season that, until the snow gets here, will have you trying to ride down anything stationary… or not stationary, that always makes for stories that make people go, “oooooooh”
Just to name a small portion of the madness: Burton has got The B, Forum (even without the great JP Walker) has got the insane Forever, Thirty Two/ Step Child (with JP) has This Video Sucks, TransWorld Snowboarding is offering Get Real, and some of you may know Standard Films which has Black Winter.
