Growing up in St. Paul, Minnesota I was blessed with the chance t0 see the the underground hip-hop scene in the Twin Cities come to fruition. Being friends with most of the Headshots Crew ( Eyedea and Abilities, Abstract Pack…ect) I was lucky enough to see them all perform from about junior high age. The house parties around this time were…aggressive! 🙂 The Soundset Festival is always the hip-hop concert of the year for the Midwest if not the nation. Put on by Rhymesayers, it features ALL of the bangers from the Metro as well as many well known national acts. If you are within driving distance you should check this one out as it’s one of my favorite times of the year! See you there…look for the guy with the fun meter on his shirt!
