MagTek
The men’s One MagTek and the women’s Diva. Both featuring MagTek the all new technology from Rossignol for 2010/2011

Rossignol is without a doubt ahead of the game. Here it is barely 2010 and they are already announcing the new tech they are going to be using on their board line for the 10/11 season. What they are going to be doing is pretty sick and is sure to enhance any riding experience.

New for this 09/10 season Rossignol introduced to us their AmpTek, which is camber in between the bindings and rocker from the bindings out to the nose and tail. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I demoed the Justice that has AmpTek and I loved it. I was ollieing and popping all over the place effortlessly, it was such a fun ride. Now next season, all of the boards except for one on the Rossignol line are going to have AmpTek camber. They have also combined their licensed Magne-Traction, from Mervin MFG, with AmpTek to create, MagTek. The AmpTek is designed to allow you to rip everything on the mountain from groomers, to powder, to pipe and park, and now combined with the Mag… Rossignol just took snowboards to a new level.

Once they got the performance of their boards taken care of Rossignol brought in artists from around the globe to come up with some pretty sick graphics. It almost kinda sucks that they are showing us this stuff this early cause now we have to wait a year to test it out. It’s lookin good Rossignol, keep up the good work.

2010-11 Highlights:

One MagTek Snowboard
The One MagTek enhances its award winning pedigree with the addition of Amptek All Mountain camber. The One MagTek’s exclusive combination of AmpTek camber and Mervin MFG’s Magne Traction sidecut is Rossignol’s latest board tech innovation and makes this directional twin board equally suited for slaying anything from pipe to powder and all conditions in between.

Diva MagTek

A mind-boggling mix of carbon, Kevlar, biaxial fibers, all terrain flex, Magne-Traction edges, early rise tips and flickering, dream-struck art. The slay-it-all performance of the Diva has been often imitated but never equaled, and with the addition of AmpTek Freestyle it’s taking all mountain freestyle snowboarding to another galaxy.
