Skate 3 Finally Released

It’s finally here! One of the most anticipated games of the year, Skate 3, has finally come out. Most of you might have a good idea of the impact the first two Skate games had on the extreme sports world, but the third one blew my mind! The story starts with the player as a legend in the skateboarding world that starts a board company. Within this company the player then needs to work on selling product, sponsoring people, winning contests and of course SKATEBOARDING!

New additions to the game include nice variations of darkslides and underflips. I also noticed Skate 3’s super smooth game play and I especially liked the fact that the player can pick the difficulty (For all you gamers that think Skate is too easy, I recommend playing on hardcore).  Another plus is of the game is that it includes big name pro skaters like Eric Kosten, PJ Ladd, Joey Brezinsky, Benny Fairfax and Lizard King.

I highly recommend that you at least rent, if not buy, this game. It’s a little pricey at $60, but can you really put a price on fun?
