Bright Lights Cold Steel No Affliction Tees
With all this news of resort openings and early season snowfall across the country, our fist-pumping brethren in New Jersey may be feeling a little left out. Danny Kass and his Grenade crew are so far removed from the memories of young Jersey shredders that all they have to look up to are kooks like Pauly D and Snooki. How in the world are we to expect future Olympians to come from these role models?!
Luckily for the Garden State, Mountain Creek is still holding it down for the real boys, minus all the spray tans and STDs. On Saturday, November 13th the Creek is opening it’s doors to lure people away from the shore with their winter premiere party, Bright Lights Cold Steel.
If the name itself isn’t enough to entice you, then consider the lineup of movies you can check out for free next weekend; Poor Boyz Productions ‘Every Day is a Saturday’, Meathead Films ‘Work It Out’, Forum‘s ‘F_ck It’, and ‘Cheers’ from People Creative. That’s hours and hours of footage that’s sure to be more entertaining than T Shirt Time.
Spectating isn’t all that Mountain Creek is serving up though, there will also be an on-snow rail jam as well as a bowl to jam out in if you’d rather bring your skate. The whole thing is sponsored by Red Bull, too, so you can expect to stay energized from the time the doors open at 5pm until long after they close at 9pm.
