From Santa Monica to San Francisco, and Miami to Manhattan, gourmet food trucks have been taking over the streets and serving up fresh food to business people and tourists who are too busy with paperwork and posing for photos to sit down and eat. Food trucks have even been getting hired to cater people’s weddings, and with the urban explosion of their popularity, it was only a matter of time before the trend started spreading.

If you’ve ever been to Mammoth, you know that it’s a pain to leave the fun of South Park and brave Canyon Lodge for a snack, especially during the holidays, so the guys in the garage came up with Roving Mammoth Burritos. They took an old snowcat and slapped a mini-kitchen on the back, fully stocked up and ready to serve up the massive burritos that are usually reserved for the lodges.

This isn’t like the sketchy taco truck that used to prowl around your high school, this is the real deal. Burritos and beverages delivered to you so you can keep on lapping the park. Or if it’s a pow day, you can catch the rover at chairs 9, 12, and 23 too. Mammoth says that there’s a calzone cat coming too, so you can easily switch things up. No word yet on if our boy Tito will be in the burrito cat with his park crew special though. (breakfast burrito with country gravy inside=digger fuel)

Follow @MammothMountain to keep track of the cat.
