2012 K2 Sonic Snowboard Binding

K2 Snowboards, Snowboard Boots, Bindings, Skis, HoodiesThis K2 Sonic binding will give you more tread for less bread and is for an all level of riders. The chassis system is a ProFusion PC chassis system. It’s a polycarbonate and it’s one piece. You can’t even adjust the heel cup back or forward, but that’s okay because it does have a tool-less adjustable toe ramp system. So if your feet decide to grow a little bit and you need to move up a size in boots, you won’t need to get a bigger size binding because you can adjust toe ramp. It also gives you a little bit more leverage when you’re powering in on those toe sides.

K2 added EVA shock pads that will absorb and dampen a lot of the impact that you’ll have, and reduce the amount of chatter that your board will get riding over bumpy terrain. The caddy ankle strap of course is very adjustable, both with the speed ratchets and the Cam-Lock system. You can adjust this, so the caddy ankle strap will fit dead center on your boot. It’s EVA molded and has a narrower waist, but it still offers a lot of lateral and medial support. The toe strap is a universal toe strap that is cored.

The center of this binding is cored out to save quite a bit of weight. It as well has the Cam-Lock system so you can make sure that the universal toe strap stays centered on your foot. The highback is an Airframe highback. It has a centered spine and offers forgiveness on both sides, so if you want to tweak out your grabs you’ll be able to do this as well. You can adjust the highback to go closer to the heel cup. It’s called the gap-less system and it has a tool-less forward lean adjustment, so if you want your forward lean pretty far forward you can do it without any tools. The multi-compatible disks work well on any three or four hole pattern board. Again, this is more bang for your buck than you are probably thinking. This is the K2 Sonic snowboard binding.
