Airblaster Family Portrait – Part 2 – Jed Anderson
Airblaster has been, since day one, a member of the that crew of Northwest-based companies that just seems to be gettin’ it right. They’re small-scale and grassroots to the max yet they still manage to get pull together a pretty radical team of shredders like Travis Parker, Jed Anderson, Ben Lynch, Nick Dirks, and Brandon Cocard. This eclectic groups seems to be a perfect fit for a company that spends their time defending the fun in snowboarding.
Enter the Family Portrait project. Airblaster, in addition to their feature-release called Respect Your Elders, put out these behind the scenes peeks into the lives of their top riders. The DVD, available for free at www.myairblaster.com, keeps up with the guys during the summer and talks about things bigger than snowboarding without leaving out any snowboarding.
Especially entertaining is the portrait of little Jed Anderson, arguably the best kid hitting metal these days. He has an inspiring outlook on life and watching closely reveals some of the secrets his success. Don’t tell Dakine, but banana wax is where it’s at.
