2011 Head NX One Snowboard Binding

The base is integrated power frame base. The sidewalls and the heelcup are actually integrated together. The adjustable toe ramp can be moved out or in depending on your boot size. If your feet decide to grow and you need new boots, you won’t need new bindings because you can adjust the toe ramps.

Head EVA footbed will absorb a lot of the impact from negative vibrations while you’re riding on the snow. The ankle straps are a 3D molded EVA strap. It’s a little bit more narrow in the center and a little bit wider on the outsides. This will give you lateral and medial support where you need it. There is a tool-less adjustment, so if you need to center the straps on your loop you can do that without any tools. The toe straps are their transferable neoprene pod toe straps. You can wear these on top of your foot, you can wear these on the front of your toe, they’re going to flex and sway and grip where you need it to.

You’ll never step on your straps again. HEAD’s patented Auto Open straps keep the base open for re-entry. They’re hinged on the sides so when you step out they lie outside the binding so all you have to do is step back in.One of my favorite things about this toe strap is Head‘s auto-open system. When you open up this, the straps completely open. The fast aluminum super buckles are quick and easy to get into and to get out of as well. The highbacks have a stiff center spine and again a tool-less adjustment to adjust the forward lean. There you have it. This is the Head NX One Super Light Binding for the rider who likes to get down and dirty in all types of conditions.

I’ve used my head nx one binding one season and broke a toe strap.. I called Head and several dealers with no luck on getting replacement straps. Love the bind HATE the service on replacement parts. I an going to switch to Burton or Drake. If you have Head products I hope you have better luck then I did. 1-5-15

Brad, you really had no luck on getting a replacement from them? I just got these Head Nx one bindings for my new setup, not even a full week of riding and my toe strap broke! Thanks for your review, now I know their service isn’t up to par like most. Before my toe strap snapped I was really enjoying this product. Not sure if this product can handle riding in -25 degree weather.

      Justin,
I did get new straps from my local dealer only after bitching (a lot) and getting price quote for Burton binds cuz u know they got extra stuff all over. I got the straps last Tuesday so I used my old back up binds for a month. My advice go to your dealer and gripe when they cave and order get at least 3 sets. GOOD LUCK and find some powder 🙂

I put these binding on my new setup and the first day I broke a damn toe strap. I guess it can’t handle -10 degrees.
