It’s about that time of year when we pack away our wonderful winter sticks and go digging for something with wheels for our source of entertainment, or if you’re the green type, your A to B getter. It’s a sad time of year I know, all that new stupid green grass poking through the last of the remaining white piles of snow, people out jogging and no more need for that bomb insulated coat you just bought. Terrible, but inevitable. So to help with the summer time blues I took a look at the complete set up of the Sector 9 Ghost Tree longboard.

I grabbed the set up from the show room and took the Ghost Tree for a cruise around the office. I’m a little on the “not skillful” side of things when it comes to skateboarding, but this Sector 9 longboard treated me well. The deck it self is made of 100% bamboo, so it flexed really good for being able to build momentum. It is 42 inches long and is 9.25 inches wide so there was plenty of room to move around. The set up comes with Sector 9’s 10″ Gullwing Charger trucks. It was really easy to turn and carve and I  felt in control the whole time. The wheels are 70mm/75a Nineball Wheels that are a clear urethane and the bearings are Abec 5 Greeseball Bearings. I may have been almost running into things and people and almost falling all over the place, but I enjoyed my ride on the Sector 9 Ghost Tree longboard. I would definitely check it out for some summer time fun!
