House Team Rider Finally Gets A Storm
California has had a less than stellar winter. Drought conditions, even fire warnings, have persisted through this atypical ski season. Three years ago, the Sierras saw so much snow roofs were caving in and towns looked like they were swallowed by Ullr himself. The 2013/2014 ski season has been sparse at the very best. But just as the season enters it’s twilight stage and the yearning and downtrodden skier looks toward their summer passions to renew the soul, Mother Nature delivers an enormous white, fluffy gift. House Team Rider, Garrett Russell, was captured in his pursuit of the Cali cold smoke face shot at the end of March. Garrett has just returned to South Lake Tahoe following his snow filled adventures in Japan, Korea, and Salt Lake City with LINE Traveling Circus. After spending most of the winter as a painter with no canvas, Garrett’s last 4 weeks have been epic. It seems rather fitting. If there is anyone who deserves a storm and an increase of the stoke meter, it is the omni-stoked Garrett Russell.
