Many people don’t understand why we choose to live in Minnesota. Yes it’s cold and the Vikings suck at football, but we do not let that get us down. We are Minnesotans and this is the land of the Wild! An enchanting place filled with fantasy and adventure. The Independent short film series “Among The Wild” will follow four local people who engage in extreme sports, Minnesotan style. If you know someone or a group of like minded individuals who should be included in this series, by all means please nominate them.
You Nominate The Talent!
Nominations will be accepted through April 30, 2012. Winners will be selected based on their pursuit of their sport that encompasses something uniquely Minnesotan. To nominate someone or yourself (we won’t tell) submit your story. In May of 2012 the submission will be narrowed down to twenty finalists, who will then be interviewed by the team and evaluated based on sports, location and on-screen presence.
Extreme Photo Contest – Submit a photos highlighting extreme sports in Minnesota and win an appearance in the film.
Photo Contest Rules
1. One entry per person.
2. Photo must have been taken by entrant.
3. Photo must have been taken in Minnesota.
4. Photo must have something to do with extreme sports and/or outdoor adventure.
5. Submissions will be accepted now through April 13th, 2012.

Extreme Video Contest – Submit a short video highlighting extreme sports in Minnesota and win an appearance in the film.
Video Contest Rules.
1. One entry per person.
2. Videos must focus on Minnesotan extreme sports or adventure.
3. All videos must be under 10 minutes.
4. All content must be created by or shot by entrant.
5. Entrants must have permission and release forms from all on-screen talent.
6. All stock footage and music must be properly licensed (in writing) to entrant.
(Use of existing music, must have permission from the musician in writing.)
7. Submissions will be accepted now through April 13, 2012.
