K2 Snowboards, Snowboard Boots, Bindings, Skis, HoodiesDid you know that K2 Snowboards has been around since 1987?  That’s pretty rad. Did you also know that K2 has been using the BOA system for 11 years now? Well, the K2 Raider Snowboard boot pretty much sets the standard for all other boots that use their BOA system. It has the BOA Coiler system. If you guys don’t know what that is, it’s a system that eliminates laces. You can be a one-armed snowboarder, and you can use this system. I’m not saying people that use laces can’t have one arm, but I’m just saying, it’s really, really easy. So that’s the lacing system.

The internal lacing system is called the K2 Fast-In system. Super, super easy to get in and out of, all you have to do is pull this little chord up, push this little knob down. Bada-bing, bada-boom, you are set to go. It’s easy, it’s quick, it’s simple. The out-sole is a low-pro system. There’s not a lot of weight added to the bottom of the boot. There’s not a lot of material in between your boot and your board and the snow, so you’re going to feel the board. You’re going to feel the contours of the snow with this boot, which is great.

The foot-bed inside – EVA insole. It’s going to remember what your foot is like, what it is on top. Again, the liner fit as well is absolutely fantastic, intuition controlled foam 3D. That’s a lot of words put together, but this thing is going to remember what it’s like when you’re in them.

The K2 Raider, 3D tongue, articulated flex. That means when you flex this boot, which is a flex of about a 5, right in the middle, not too stiff, not too soft… But when you flex this thing, it’s not going to pinch your skin or cause sock-bunch, or anything of that sort.

K2 has been setting the standard with the BOA system that they’ve used for 11 years. Yes! The K2 Raider Snowboard Boot.
