Kids these days. How in the world do they make a name for themselves. They can’t drive, feed themselves, pay bills, or buy lottery tickets. We collectively know that’s what actually makes us adults – right? Riders work for decades perfecting their style; ask Richards, Terje, Guch, Downing, and Jones (both of them). So how in the world would a kid get a spot on The House Snowboard Team?
Brandon thinks on a higher plain than most 12 year olds. He likes to push himself harder than most. Brandon usually registers at rail jams in a older age group or Open Class. Who does that – especially in the Midwest?
Brandon Kirkland has been raising the bar ever since he strapped his little feet into a grom deck. With help from his parents and younger brother, Brandon has been able to travel across the country riding. Still in his formative years there have been a countless amount of people assisting Brandon on his journey. Rome Snowboards, Neff Headwear, and Phunksun Wear Face Mask all have his back – and so do we.
Brandon Kirkland may not be a household name yet, but he will be soon. Give him a couple of years and he’ll have cover shots and groupies. Cheers to you Brandon, welcome to the team.
