When Travis Rice makes a movie, people notice. When he teamed up with Curt Morgan to produce That’s It, That’s All everyone who saw the movie quickly hoped that the title wasn’t an indication that this was their last film. Luckily for everyone who appreciates snowboarding, they’ve been working on another one for a while now so the excitement and anticipation are beginning to build.

“The Art of Flight” should be coming out with next year’s movie releases, but the project has been enigmatically esoteric since it began—much like the last one. Lately though, as if Julian Assange has put everyone in the mood, bits of information have been leaking out. Legendary snowboard photographer Scott Serfas did an interview recently wherein he discussed Flight and Travis Rice, calling one recent filming trip to Alaska so good that “snowboarding changed, for real, on that trip.”

Then, just days ago, the guys over at ESPN got ahold of a sneak peak photo gallery, chronicling a trip from Jackson Hole, WY to Valdez, AK . Judging by the photos, it looks like Art of Flight will take things to the next level with giant hits built into gnarly lines and it’s safe to say that the presence of legend-in-the-making Mark Landvik and Olympic heartthrob Scotty Lago will lend more credibility to the project than it knows what to do with. And from the looks of the photo gallery they’re probably having some fun while they’re at it too.

Keep an eye out over the horizon for Travis’ Red Bull helicoptors until the premiere, because you know he’ll be stacking footy right up until the very end.
