2011 Salomon Riot Snowboard
This is a Salomon– Riot Magnum Snowboard. You can drop hammers with this thing because it is one weapon that you need for your freestyle and park riding skills. The board feels good, it’s lightweight, it’s poppy, and of course, it’s going to be very fast. The flex rating is a 3 and it is a twin shape board. The nose and tail are going to be the exact same size and the stance is going to be centered. This board has Salomon‘s flat profile- all the way along the effective edge. It’s going to be flat for catch free spins and lots of pop. It has a radial sidecut radius for a smooth transition going in and exiting out of turns.

But my favorite thing about this board is the sidewalls.The sidewalls have rubber rails, a rubber dampening system, that again run the full effective edge of the board. It’s going to dampen negative vibrations. It’s going to help absorb impacts and it’s going to be pretty interesting to ride.
Salomon uses an aspen wood core that runs from tip to tail. It has a poplar profile as well for additional ollie pop and snap. The biax fiberglass runs in two different directions. It runs at 90 degrees and at zero degrees; and it does have a medium density. The Sintered 2000 base is going to be very very fast, make sure you wax it. It’s a combination of silk screening and die cut as well. You can see that fist, Pow!, stands out a lot. There is a classic edge bevel that runs the full length of the effective edge. So when you’re on rails you’re not going to catch up or you’ll be less likely to catch up. Again this is a Salomon Riot Snowboard.
