Jackson Hole will be joining the elite ranks of esteemed mountains who are privy to a Burton Stash this winter. During the summer months, a team of builders from Burton, Jackson Hole, Snow Park Techonology and one grizzly Washingtonian have been hard at work bringing the woods to the Hole.
Stash parks always use natural terrain to create freestyle obstacles, and if you haven’t had a chance to ride one yet, you’re running out of excuses because the fellas at Burton have been dotting the global landscape with a new park every year. The Stash Parks are full of different features, and most are unique to each site, to help them blend with the environment. Crossing the threshold of warning signs at the top of any one of the five worldwide parks leads snowboarders to rainbow trees, log jibs, totem pole jams, rock wall rides, and log cabins, just to name a few.
Stashes are tucked away in each corner of the globe, with the original at Northstar-at-Tahoe, Killington (but really Pico!), Avoriaz, France, and The Remarkables, New Zealand.
The newest addition up in the Wyoming Rockies really makes Jackson Hole a destination, if you didn’t think it was already. The hill will feature four distinct Stash Parks, running from top to bottom and ranging in difficulty level so that everyone can get their hippie-jib on!
