Head Ignition Rocka Review – 2011

This is a Head Ignition Rocka Snowboard. It’s a versatile freestyle board that will help you learn how to ride a little better from the pow to the park. The consistent pop will help you learn how to jump a little bit faster and learn how to flex a little bit better as well. It is and has a reverse camber Rocka shape. That’s what Head calls it. Which is pretty cool.

The base is one of my favorite things about the board because it has eye watering graphics. It has a silk screen graphics underneath the extruded 4400 base. It also has a little Head dye cut as well. Like I said, they’re eye watering, I think the graphics are amazing. They were done by a guy named Justin Kauffmann from JustInk, amazing graphics, amazing board.

Superlight WeightInside this board is a poplar wood core tip to tail that will have a consistent flex all season long. Sandwiching the wood core is a Biax fiberglass that runs at zero degrees and at 90 degrees. The True Twin, team twin shape is pretty unique as well. They reduced the amount of nose and tail material to keep the board nice and light; and you’ll be able to ride this board just a little bit smaller as well. Here is it the Head Ignition Rocka Snowboard, graphic by Justin Kauffmann. This is actually a really light board. I’m holding this, as you see, and this is a very light board, bare bones, fall in love, enjoy snowboarding, Head.
