    Hello and Happy New Years!

I wanted to write this letter in response to the letter I wrote on December 21, 2010. The original letter was a rather negative letter about the crappy service I received from “The House” when I ordered a snowboard jacket for my wife for Christmas in early December just to find out that the jacket was no longer available (email sent to me December 20th!)

Well, the day after I wrote that negative letter, I received a response from Kris Magnusson, the Chief Operating Officer for The House. He appologized and explained the situation and actually tried calling me up in Canada a number of times to fix the problem. He was absolutely awesome in explaining the problem and then hyperlinking me some alternative jackets that could substitute for the 686 jacket I originally ordered.

Kris hooked me up with CS rep Andy Svendsen, who then assisted me in ordering a different jacket and together, these two guys hooked up the jacket and the international express postage to Canada for the next day delivery, just in time for Christmas!

The jacket was sent off and received in Canada by the 23rd. Unfortunately Canada Post isn’t as efficient so I didn’t get the jacket until Dec. 29th.

BUT… I would really like to say “thanks” to both Kris and Andy for going the extra mile in identifying the problem and then offering ways to fix the problem. You definately saved a repeat customer who was pretty upset.

You guys are the best and I hope I can one day do the same for others!

Cheers and may it dump powder all over your head,
