Diaries Down Under Snowboard Edit

When Burton relaunched their website, it wasn’t just some overblown marketing ploy with fancy graphics and all that, they also got themselves a revamped video section, wherein you can find things like this little gem of an edit from Diaries Down Under.

Taking place during the Burton New Zealand Open of Snowboarding, the footage follows guys like Chris Grenier and Joe Sexton to a nice little mini ramp session, and then grabs Giom Morisset and friends for a golf outing set against a lovely New Zealand backdrop.

Then flash over to Seppe Smits, Seb Toots and Mark McMorris throwing down in the slopestyle competition, including McMorris’ gold medal taking run. Then the Nicks and Burton’s Japan team take to The Remarkables resort for some highlights and a failed road gap that really completes the video.

If you’re on a tight time budget, skip to :31 because the rest is just a long ad for apparently New Zealand tourism, who’ve done a great job selling me on the kiwis. Turns out this isn’t even really a Burton clip, its backed by all these tourism companies. We don’t have tickets to New Zealand for you, but we do have all the newest Burton snowboarding gear here at The House.
