Good news, bad news kids. School starts soon, and I know that you want to slap anyone in the face who reminds you of it. The good news however, is that this time of year always brings you another stellar edition of back to school style with The House.
There’s a few prevailing trends for the suave skater out there this season. First, we’re seeing a lot of companies bringing the basics back to their lines. Earthy colors and old-fashioned t-shirts are standard looks for back to school, but use some accessories (preferably home made, like all the best things) to make sure you stay fresh.
Up top we’re going to start you off with some fresh t shirts. The timeless standard never looks stale, and we have tons to choose from. One that we’re particularly fond of is the Globe Snarl Shirt. What better way to welcome Globe’s recent voyage into the world of snowboarding than by sporting this pipe-smokin captain wolf on a premium slim-fit tee.
It’s been boardshorts all summer long, but now that school’s back you’ll want to hit the streets right after last period and nobody likes skating in shorts. Set yourself up with some fresh denim, maybe even something in an old-school blue. With everyone and their dad rocking black or grey now, stand out in something like the RVCA Romero II in in raw blue.
For your feet, we’re seeing a lot of shoe companies stealing features from hiking boots for their kicks, from waterproof suedes to D-Ring lace loops. We wouldn’t want you clomping around the hallways like you woke up in a tent, so split the difference with the Gravis Fulton in black coffee. These keep the earthy-tone trend going but add a few neon touches…ya know, for the ladies.
you got to rock the RVCA’s to the first day of class

If its cool out, im wearing the jeans. If its warm im wearing some rvca boardshorts! Great photoshop btw.
