The Elan Explore 6 Snow Ski is a great option for the improving skier who wants a lightweight and forgiving ski that will help them learn and hone their technique. The parabolic rocker will give you more control by making the Explore 6 enter and exit turns with minimal effort. Rocker in the tip engages the tip of the ski into turns, and rocker in the tail will release the skis from turns very easily.
The Explore 6 uses Waveflex Technology with waves built into the mid-body of the ski that allow it to have an easy longitudinal flex, lower the total weight of the ski, and increase the torsional strength of the ski that will make it more responsive the faster you ski. The combination of Full Power Cap construction with a dual wood core with layers of fiberglass gives the Explore 6 the perfect amount of forgiveness that will make learning easy and help you progress to a solid intermediate.
