2013 Burton Clash Snowboard Review

2013 Burton Clash Snowboard

The Burton Clash is the ideal deck for dialing in foundational skills.  With a softer flex than the Burton Blunt and a convex Cruise Control base, it’s almost impossible to catch an edge on the Clash.  Ride up the ladder of success on the Clash and wave goodbye to everyone you leave behind.

*If you like the Clash but have +11 size feet check out the Burton Bullet.

2013 Burton Bullet Snowboard Review

2013 Burton Bullet Wide Snowboard

The soft flex of the Burton Bullet help’s anyone to learn their first turns and progress from there.  Built for a big footed rider, the Bullet has a forgiving Feel Rating of a 2 – it’s more forgiving that the Burton Blunt.  Similar to the Burton Clash but a touch wider, the Bullet’s V-Rocker profile provides a smooth feel and a consistent ride.  Shaq approved.

2013 Burton Blunt Wide Snowboard Review

2013 Burton Blunt Wide Snowboard

Big Feet?  Yeah.  Jib the park?  All the time.  Board?  Burton Blunt Wide.  The Burton Blunt Wide is the same as the Blunt, but a little wider.  That’s pretty much it.  With a feel rating of a 3 you’ll be able to press the hell out of this jib slayer.  Saving cash for lift tickets?  Yeah the Blunt will help you fill your little piggy, but if you have cash to blow and want a deck like the Blunt but on steroids…go high five the Burton Whammy Bar.  If V-Rocker isn’t for you and you still want a forgivable flex with a camber profile…listen to the soft whispers of the Burton Honcho.

2013 Burton Blunt Snowboard Review

2013 Burton Blunt Snowboard

If there is a board that is virtually impossible to catch an edge on this season it’s the Burton Blunt.  With enough sway in the V-Rocker profile to press the feel rating of a 3 to the outer limits of the galaxy the Blunt is a great alternative to the Burton Honcho.  If you’re a big footed jibber, have no worries; you choose to slay on the Burton Blunt Wide instead.  Spend less cash on a Blunt and ride a board that feels like the Burton Whammy Bar.

Do you want to to ride a beefed up version of the Burton Custom?  If so, the Burton Aftermath is the deck you’re looking for.  Soft enough to press and poppy enough, because of the Squeeze Box core, to snap those high ollies.  The Frostbite Edges grip hard on firm snow and the classic camber profile will help you enjoy every turn.
