Proprietary Category/Brand Director

TheHouse.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Camping World Holdings, is a fast growing ecommerce sporting goods company.
We are seeking an experienced category/brand director for the The House proprietary brands of outdoor clothing and equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term
  • Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
  • Assisting with product development and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities
  • Competitor and customer insights analysis
  • Analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financials and reporting on product sales
  • Attend trade shows and conventions
  • Experience in monitoring and analyzing KPIs on the proprietary brands;
  • Work closely with internal marketing team in developing branding (i.e. hangtags, labels, logos, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze and report on industry trends and relevant technologies

Social Media Director

TheHouse.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Camping World Holdings, is seeking
an experienced Social Media Director to lead the strategy, maintenance and growth
for all of The House.com social media platforms.

Reporting into the SVP, Sales & Marketing, the Social Media Director will oversee
and manage social media channels for TheHouse.com and it's sister brands.
Responsibilities include the following: overall social media strategy and
implementation; production of original collateral; implementation of innovative
projects and content; quantitative analysis of individual channels/platforms and
forecasting; supporting the Marketing & Programming teams with other special
projects and events. 

Responsibilities and Duties (Including 1 Direct Report)

  • Manage and grow social media platforms for TheHouse.com and it’s sister brands
  • Enhance our social media strategy for all sales channels for TheHouse.com and it’s sister brands
  • Develop, edit, and share content daily
  • Implement and oversee a content and posting calendar
  • Set growth and engagement goals
  • Management of social media campaigns and day-to- day activities including: user engagement, social media copy, community-outreach efforts, digital campaigns, and partnerships with digital influencers
  • Stay up-to- date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI)
  • Special event support and attendance when needed (Some weekends required)
  • Manage blogger outreach programs and build an active brand ambassador network to support general and specific brand initiatives
  • Image research and sourcing; organizing and laying out digital assets
  • Conceptualize, produce, and edit engaging and original photography, video, and digital content for all channels

Website Quality Assurance Director

TheHouse.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Camping World Holdings, is a fast
growing ecommerce sporting goods company. We are seeking a multi disciplinary
Engineer a combination of Quality Assurance (QA) engineer and a systems Engineer
to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
and to veil for the systems once deployed to production.

The responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
The role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.
You will be responsible for testing complex applications. Knowledge of front-end and back-end development processes and environments are essential and respecting the quality of the end-product and taking in pride in the work is a must. You will test across various browsers and devices, and document and communicate the user experience to ensure a seamless result.
Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions before and after release to production to meet quality standards.
Qualified engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in specification workshops working closely to software developers, business analysts and stakeholders. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Analyse the requirements and creation of test plan
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Involved in the creation of Functional, System, Integration and Regression test cases and procedures
  • Execute software tests (Manual/Automated) and document test results
  • Technical trouble-shooting
  • Creation and maintenance of test and environment data
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, support and management to understand requirements and product direction. Occasional interaction with clients may be required
  • Provide regular updates on progress and/or issues
  • Active in Agile meetings when required for planning, retrospectives
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Duties include taking care of production deployments and verification as well as helping troubleshooting production issues, gathering information that can be passed to software development department

  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in software development
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • End-to-end Automation testing experience
  • A degree in Computer Science or related IT degree
  • ISEB/ISTQB qualified (foundation as a minimum)
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Hands-on experience of building test automation frameworks using UFT, SpecFlow and Selenium and Continued Integration (mandatory)
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server and MySQL / SQL knowledge (mandatory)
  • Jira, Confluence or similar (mandatory)
  • Experience of working in Data Analytics project (advantageous)
  • Performance testing for global enterprise websites and applications (advantageous)
  • Experience of Docker and containerisation (advantageous)
  • Experience of testing applications built using Web Technologies, both server and client side technologies
  • Experience with both web and desktop applications is a must
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
