Thanks to everyone for coming out to our first paddle day of 2012 up at North Ave beach and thanks again to the the Great Lakes Board Company. It was an awesome evening in the mid 80s with calm winds perfect for a paddle push. The sun is here to stay in Chicago so that means it’s time to kick into stand up paddle board season. Windward had and awesome time last year with our Stand Up Paddle Days, so we are continuing the tradition into summer 2012 with our first paddle day June 14th, 2012 from 5-8pm with Great Lakes Board Company at North Ave beach.
The deal is the same as last year with free 15min paddle sessions for the first people to reserve a spot at the beach. Just say that you are there for the ‘Windward Paddle Day’ and we can get your name on the list to go out and demo an SUP.
Keep on the lookout for more dates to come soon. It’s gonna be a fine summer indeed.
