Ladies Shred Day 2014 is a world-wide event focused on creating a safe, fun and friendly environment to female riders of all skill levels. Every year the Windy City Boarders team up with Devil’s Head Resort who offer complimentary snowboard lessons, discounted rentals, room rates and lift tickets, plus the event has such a draw, some shops in the Chicago area help bus ladies to & from the event!
Last but not least, there is a free raffle to every girl that participated that are donations from sponsoring companies. Each lady will get 1 raffle ticket when they check in at the event and the raffle will take place after lunch as a way to say thank you to everyone for showing up. Plus, Windawrd and WCB will have other special prizes/awards for “quickest learner”, “raddest shredder” and things of that sort! And as a new addition to the event, WCB hired a DJ to spin live during the day to keep the energy going, along with hosting an afterparty that evening.
