If you are not familiar with Chicago Push Races, they are the crew that puts on the Big Scary Bomb Longboard race every October. In recent years there has been issues with the city and the race in the past so Windward is working with Chicago Push Races to raise money for a city permit. Come out to the Chicago Push Races Fundraiser on July 18th, 5-8pm at Windward Boardshop to support the Big Scary Push 2014 and Chicago Longboarding scene in raising money for this years race.
We will have free snacks, drinks and raffle you can enter to win some sweet prizes. Win prizes from your favorite brands like Arbor, Sector-9, Loaded, Landyachtz and more! Raffle tickets are 5 for $5 with all of the proceeds going toward the city permit for the 2014 Big Scary Push. Plus, resident longboard expert Cody will be hosting a free clinic.
