Join Windward and the Chicago skateboard community for Artists on Board Skateboard Art Show. Artists on Board is a touring skateboard art show based out of Portland OR. featuring one of a kind skateboard decks by top local, national and international contemporary artists. With close to 400 artists submitting one of a kind works of art on skateboard decks Artists on Board is the largest skateboard art show in history.
Artists on board is one day only show. There is an all ages viewing from 2-6pm. From 6-11pm is 21+.
Here is a rundown of what is going on:
- 350+ one of a kind works of art on skateboards on display (on sale @ 2pm)
- DJs from 2-11
- Live painting
- Vendors
- The release of 6 new ArtDeckCo limited edition “ADC Originals” decks
- Video mapping instalation
- Skate and BMX demo
- Artist reception party at 6 with over 100 artists expected to attend
- Live performance art
- Skate videos on a giant screen
- and more all in a massive 20,000 sq. ft. venue!
