Description: O'Brien Nalu Wakesurfer

The morning glass is waiting, so put the boat in the water, set your ballast and get ready for a great day of cruising lake with the O'Brien Nalu Wakesurfer. This durable compression molded board has a rocker profile that generates effortless speed by extending the flat surface further forward to plane easily across the water. With a single fin design that reduces drag and gives you a loose feel, this wakesurfer turns tight in the pocket while producing drive and glide down the wake. One pull behind the boat with this board under your feet and you will see the fun you have been missing.

I need a beginner board for a 110 # 12 yo. he is having difficulty getting up on our more intermediate board. Suggestions?
evelyn s on Aug 3, 2015
I do not have a perfect answer here. There are some youth specific boards out there, but they quickly become insufficient. Purchasing a smaller 4' 8" or 4'6" board can make it a little easier for a youth to learn. This Nalu Wakesurfer is not a bad option. I suggest having a chat with our Wake / Wind specialists at: 1 (800) 409-7669.... they can help!
Is this a beginner board and what is the maximum weight it can hold?
Kevin D on Jul 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hey, The Nalu is not a beginner board. Its max weight will be in the mid 200's.
How much speed do I need to get it on plane? Can I kite on it?.
A shopper on Jul 14, 2015
As a voluminous Wakesurfer, this O'Brien Nalu will plane quite easily. It could, in theory, be used for Kiting. It would not be exactly easy and might require a larger fin!?
